In January 2016, Leo Phoenix was stillborn at 37 weeks. He weighed 6lb 4oz, and was born on the 17 Janruary 2016 at 2:33am. His parents were Jessica and Natalie Clasby-Monk, both friends of mine from secondary school.

Their story raised my awareness of the surprising frequency in which families experience baby loss and I have watched in awe over the last 18 months as they have raised £1000's for several charities and they have inspired me to do my part.

Therefore, on the 25th March 2018, I will be running the London Landmarks Half marathon. Those of you who know me know that I have run the Southampton half marathon for the last three years and have gotten slower each time! Consequently, my goal is to train to beat my original time of 2:15.
