Story
I'm running the 2016 London Marathon for the UK-based Shaw Trust who help disadvantaged and disabled people gain the skills they need to find work, allowing them to lead full and independent lives.
The money I raise will specifically go towards five special and mainstream schools run by Shaw Education Trust, an arm of Shaw Trust that focuses on education for children with disabilities or in disadvantaged communities.
This will be my second marathon and I'm aiming to smash my time at the Tokyo marathon - 4 hours 17 minutes - by at least half an hour. Why make life easy?!
I need your support in three ways to get me to the finish line!
- By donating whatever you can to support the Shaw Trust
- By listening to my training related sagas as I once again allow a marathon to takeover my life - sorry!
- And by coming out on race day to cheer me on
Thank you in advance!
