Doctors for Nepal works to improve healthcare in rural Nepal by empowering impoverished students to server as doctors in their isolated rural communities. In the aftermath of the Earthquake, this charity will provide funds for immediate medical care at Patan Hospital in Kathmandu, assist in the provision of medical care in rural areas immediately affected, assist with medical care to those regions indirectly affected by the earthquake, and provide a sustainable approach to improving healthcare in rural Nepal.
