Through recent personal experience of having a brain tumour with the need for a lifelong VP shunt (to combat high pressure on my brain), I now have the opportunity to bring awareness to and fundraise for BrainWaves NI. BrainWaves NI funds life-changing research and memorable family activities for those living with and affected by brain tumours. Throughout 2020 & 2021, I will be running several fundraising events that will be personally challenging but ultimately to bring people together for a great time and to expand awareness of brain tumours.
