Story
Helen’s Trust aims to be responsive and flexible to individual needs by providing the care or equipment needed to help a person to stay at home.
Their support can include:
Carers respite in the home, either through the day, or overnight.
Equipment such as overbed tables, personal alarms, keysafes.
Helen's Trust can provide other equipment and support and they are always happy to discuss any other requests, providing each referral meets their criteria.
Night sitting services are provided between the hours of 10pm and 7am and typically at a maximum of 4 nights in the first instance.
Daytime respite is typically funded up to 6 hours per week for the duration of 6 months.
Helping terminally ill people stay in their own home.
Helen's Trust aims to help remove the barriers that may be preventing a person from staying at home by funding and providing care and equipment.
Returning to your own home, even after just a short time, can be one of the most comforting feelings.
Relaxing in your own chair, drinking tea from your favourite cup or watching your pets play in the garden are simple pleasures we can all take for granted.
At the most challenging of times these home comforts can make an even bigger difference to our beneficiaries and their families. Helens trust makes this happen.
