Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

So - 14 colleagues will be tackling the 24 hour Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 28th September 2019.

We represent some of the biggest infrastructure projects presently
underway in the UK led by ATC (Alstom TSO Costain) Joint Venture having representatives from Crossrail, Thames Tideway & HS2. Thanks to some of our suppliers who have supported the logistics behind this fantastic event (Danny Sullivan Group, VGC, Cheema and Victa Rail).

This is no mean feat. We will trek the UK’s highest peaks. A
fast-paced and physically challenging adventure, as we take on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m).

Over the course of 24 hours, we will trek around 26 miles and
ascend to a total height of almost 3,000m. This is a serious and tough
challenge which requires a good level of fitness, as well as plenty of grit and determination. This is one of the most highly regarded trekking challenges in the UK!

Our Nominated Charity is The Danny Green Fund supports children under the age of 18 who are suffering from brain tumours and Posterior Fossa Syndrome in particular. PFS causes various neurological disabilities as the result of brain tumour surgery.

They also fund brain tumour research to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Please take a look at their web site www.thedannygreenfund.org.uk for further details as to the aims and achievements of the charity.
