Ambition is a leading national body and youth charity, reaching half a million young people every year across the UK.

For many young people, school and home is not always an easy place to be. We have been meeting the needs of young people since 1925 through our diverse network of voluntary and community sector organisations, community projects, local authorities and housing associations. Our programmes enable young people to do better at school, find employment and improve their health and wellbeing by developing confidence, life skills and resilience.

We strengthen community organisations working with young people in 3,500 local communities.

• We secure funding for our members to deliver education programmes to young people.
• We provide training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers who work with young people.
• We provide nationally-recognised quality assurance for organisations working with young people, including advice on policies and procedures, safeguarding and discounted insurance.
• We hold regional and national networking events to share effective practice.
