As part of a fundraising for Charity week at my school, I am taking part in an event called Sleep Easy. This is where my fellow class mates and I will be sleeping outside with only cardboard boxes for shelter, to show support and raise funds so that homeless youths may never have to sleep rough themselves.

The money raised with this event will help run the new housing being built for teenagers to live to get them on their feet again and make sure they are never without a warm bed.

If you could spare even just a £1, it would mean the world, not only to me, but to all the young people in Southend who need the support and care that YMCA can give them.
