Story
Emmie, my 10 year old daughter, developed CRPS in the whole of her left leg and foot after a car accident 6 months ago.
Since then her life has been flipped upside down. She is in pain constantly, and experiences chronic, excruciating pain for hours at a time on a daily basis.
The idea for this challenge came about after the realisation that Emmie would not be able to join our family and friends on a walk up the Wrekin in Telford, something that up until then we had taken for granted.
To honour Emmie's resilience, and to raise awareness for this terrible disease, I have decided to set myself a challenge.
Complete the total elevation gained on the three peaks, on the Wrekin. Whilst carrying the equivalent of Emmie's weight, which is 30kg, for as many of those reps as possible.
12.5 reps of the Wrekin is the equivalent of going up and down the 3 Peaks - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon. The total distance is 35 miles.
