Right Then.... Here Goes....

On the 8th of April 2017 I will be running in the MARATHON DES SABLES (MDS) in aid of Ty Gobaith (Hope House).

The MDS is the toughest foot race on earth!!  I will be running 7 marathons in 6 days through the Sahara desert. I have already paid £3200 to do this out of my own money, which has paid for my flights and accommodation for before and after the race. 

I will not get this money back as every penny I raise will be donated to charity. The charity i have chosen and will be raising money for is Ty Gobaith (Hope House) which is a charity throughout Wales helping Life-Limited children and there family's going through the unimaginable.

Ty Gobaith rely on voluntary donations to raise over £5 million needed every year so I am hoping my efforts will get enough donations to help them reach their targets.

In just 6 days I will be running over 250 km (156 miles) with all my own food and supplies carried by myself. I will be running and camping through the crazy terrain of the Sahara desert and on one of the stages I will be running 52 miles in 1 day in up to 50 degrees+ heat and into the night.

This is going to be the hardest thing I've ever done and will be so grateful to all the people/ friends/ and family who sponsor me to do this to raise as much as I can for Ty Gobaith. 

I have lots of training to carry on with and on the 7th of April next year I will be on a plane to Morocco to complete this goal and raise money for Ty Gobaith.
