We Bring horses and people together to improve health and therapeutic benefits

Story

I'm running the London Marathon 2021 to help raise much needed funds for the RDA.

It is a fantastic charity, which does great work across the UK. It is also close to my heart as my partner has owned and ridden horses all her life and I can say first hand the joy they bring to many people. Without the vital work that the RDA carry out, so many people would not be able to benefit.

Please give what you can to help support the RDA and help drive me forward on this amazing marathon challenge. However big or small, all donations are hugely appreciated.

RDA’s work is delivered by 18,000 volunteers through 500 local groups across the UK. No other UK charity delivers the work we do; our activities (from riding and carriage driving, volunteer training, holidays and educational activities) all have the same goal - focusing on what each beneficiary ‘can do’ to achieve physical and mental wellbeing; with the end goal of enriching lives and changing futures. We need your support to continue the vital work we do and benefit the RDA community. Please do give and donate what you feel you can.

About the charity

RDA are dedicated to improving the lives of 20,000 children & adults with disabilities by spending time with horses, at over 400 groups all over the UK. Our beneficiaries experience significant improvements in physical & mental wellbeing, communication skills, relationship building & confidence.
