Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Chestnut Challenge 'triathlon' is growing a 'tache' - with a twist! As well as 'pushing' the facial hair I will also cycle and run - at least 300Km during November.  My goals are to cycle a minimum of 220 Km and run at least 80 Km during the calendar month of November. Come rain or shine!

Nealry 50,000 (1 in 8) men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. The Chestnut Appeal do great things to raise funds to support the very latest in treatments and technology that would otherwise be unavailable in our region. To be successful they are very dependent on community fundraising and donations from the public. The latest fundrasing efforts are for MRI-ultrasound fusion scanners. These will become the 'gold standard' in prostate cancer diagnosis and will help bigger inroads to making early diagnosis and successful treatment of this very survivable disease - 84% of men survive 10 or more years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for reading this far and every little bit helps a big deal.
