At Adventure Aid Nepal, we offer sustainable low-impact volunteering to support the poorest communities, particularly schools and children that have received very little outside help since the earthquake of 2015. We provide safe, responsible and affordable volunteering, working alongside the Juniper Trust charity who are rebuilding schools in Nepal.

The schools are in  remote villages in the most deprived areas of Nepal, often still using temporary shelters for their education, six years on from the earthquake in April 2015. 

Adventure Aid Nepal hopes to raise $10,000 (£7,500) before the end of 2022 to deliver new uniforms and school equipment to the children at Maili school all three schools and and for and additional 250 children at the Juniper Trust School in Kinja. This was one of the first schools to be rebuilt after the earthquake in 2015 and some of the children are still wearing the uniform that was given to them in 2016!

The initial fund raising target of £7000 for the uniforms was raised by the end of October 2019 but following several requests for more help, we hope to raise £10,000 in total before the end of the year. The extra money will go towards paint, furniture, and even uniforms for more new arrivals at the schools. 

It costs just $30 (£23) to giver a child new hope with a school uniform, shoes, rucksack, pencils and books.
