I was fortunate enough to gain a place in the London Marathon via the charity that UPS support. 15 lucky runners will embark on one of the most famous Marathons in the world on April 23rd. This Just Giving Page is to help support the charity and raise some money for something I believe is much needed. UK Youth empower approximately 830, 500 young people to take control of their own lives with the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to help them reach their full potential and grow into confident, capable adults who lead fulfilling lives.

I believe I was lucky enough to have a safe supportive upbringing and appreciate the value of being cared for and having opportunities in life which gave me the groundings I have today.

During the lead up to the Marathon the 15 of us will visiting local youth centres and give up our time to talk with the youngsters. My personal locations will be in Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend and Port Talbot. This is something I am personally looking forward to and also something that is very new to me.
