I am taking part in the Father’s day 10K for Macmillan cancer support for a couple of reasons. My Granny Effie lost her battle with Cancer in 2009 and the support she and the family received from the Macmillan nurses was amazing. This run is a chance for me to give a little back.

I am also supporting my friend Gemma Davidson who is running for her father who was diagnosed in 2013. She has shown amazing courage in light of this and recently losing her Mother.

Macmillan have supported my family and friends. I hope they will never need to support yours but please donate and help them to keep supporting others.
