Story

I completed the Ride London in August and I am now Riding to Waterloo in Brussels. This is a cycle organised by O2E (Ordinary to Extraordinary).

Setting off from London on Wednesday we stay overnight in Calais on Wednesday night.

On Thursday we get back on the saddle and "look forward" to a100 mile ride from Calais heading south to the village of Agincourt, site of Henry V incredible rout of the French in 1415 and then head west to Ypres, on the 100th anniversary of the second battle of Ypres, (Passchendaele). The French Fire Service who are responsible for administering the Menin Gate have kindly agreed to allow O2e to lay a wreath at the ceremony of the `Last Post` at 8pm EXTRAORDINARY !!!

On Friday we have 106 mile ride from Ypres to Brussels via the world famous Roubaix velodrome and the `Butte de Lion`, site of the 1815 battle of Waterloo.  The finish will be at the Grand Place in central Brussels
