My family and I are walking 183 miles from Saint Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood's bay in Yorkshire. The walk crosses the mountains of the lake district as well as the Yorkshire Dales. We thought this would be a great opportunity to raise funds for WMUK particularly the Rory Morrison registry project which helps support patients, carers and doctors assiting with communication in the treatment of Waldonstorms Macroglobulinemia. My Uncle Rory was diagnosed with this rare form of cancer when he was 40. He was a pillar of our family and we all miss him very much, which is why we would like to keep up the good work in his memory.
