Story

To Mark the 10 year anniversary of Aldington Equine Vets Ltd, we are planning a team challenge for charity. The Mary Towneley Loop is a local historic packhorse trail, Lady Mary Towneley tirelessly worked  to preserve and reopen. The trail has provided 48 miles of stunning bridleway through the southern Pennines of East Lancashire, for us all to enjoy.

Over two weekends the team at Aldington Vets will be tackling the loop in aid of Riding for the disabled. David Aldington will be cycling the full 48 miles on Sunday 9th August along with Paul - then the full team will be walking a 20 mile stretch of the loop on the following Sunday 16th August 2015 from Blackshaw Head, Hebden Bridge to Peers Clough Farm, Lumb Rossendale.
