Story
As I am sure you are aware, we have been supporting Anton's amazing work in the Soweto slums for a number of years now. Anton is a tireless, inspiring man who is single handedly changing his community from the inside out.
In conjunction with the bakery, Anton feeds hundred of local children every weekend, runs a school, a centre of excellence for kids who want to progress to the next level, an elderly foodcare programme, a drop in centre and after school studies.
All of these are achievable due to his hard work, selflessness and chairs for the kids and adults to sit on. Someone broke into his school by picking the padlock and stole all 70 chairs. These chairs also act as an extra source of income, as they are hired out for events in the slum, and the profits go towards his community programmes.
I would be eternally grateful if everyone could spare 6 pounds. This way we can buy back all 70 chairs.
Anton has already upgraded his security situation so they will be safer than before.
