Story

Hi all,

my name is Alex. I am 13 and have been playing tennis since I was 5. I can't imagine life without tennis! I play almost every day - indoors and outdoors, regardless of the weather...

In February 2020, I will take part in the 24hr Tennis Marathon, competing against National British Tennis players. Whilst this is a great opportunity for me, I am actually joining the event in an attempt to support Jimmy's Tennis based at Frindsbury LTC. Jimmy's tennis has the largest LD disability programme in the UK and also runs a Tennis for Kids programme and other one to one and group sessions. However, all the courts are open air and the slightest change in weather conditions can affect play.

I am fortunate enough to be fit and healthy and I can still play if the weather is not dry but this is not the case for the players on the disability programme and the younger kids like my brother.

To improve the facilities, Frindsbury LTC plan to build covered roof over their 2 mini courts which would allow sessions to continue. We are fundraising to support this great initiative.

I would be grateful if you could support me or share my page, it is only with your help, I could achieve my target!
