Thanks for clicking the link to my fundraising page, and hopefully sponsoring me on my Isle of Wight Coastal Path Challenge in aid of Autistica.

This September I’m joining a group of other hikers from across BCLP to take on the challenge of cover 40 miles of the Isle of Wight Coastal Path over a day and a half.  This might not sound like that much of a challenge until you realise that the average day’s walk on the path is 8-16 miles!

We will be arriving in Ryde on the evening of Thursday 27 September in time for a high-carb preparatory dinner and an early night.  Walking starts at 6.30am on Friday 28 September, aiming to cover 25 miles before dinner back in Ryde and a well-deserved rest.  We’ll begin again at 6.30am on Saturday 29 September, after a brief car ride, and should complete the last 15 miles in time for a late lunch.
