Story

Hi my name is Alex

I am 8 years old and I have been learning about climate change at school. I have learnt that if we keep complaining about the situation then eventually adults will change the way climate change is affecting the earth.

Also my dad just came back from COP26. So I decided I would walk to school on Friday and raise money for climate change. I am walking to school so that I do not waste petrol.

The distance is 4 miles and it will take me 2 hours. I will leave at 6 in the morning and hope to get to school by 8am.

Please help me raise money for the rainforest. The money will protect the forest and animals, support the people living there and stop the big companies from chopping down the trees.

Thank you

Alex Monck
