Virtually everyone knows someone who has a connection to this vital local charity, so combining a personal challenge with raising vital funds for the wonderful work done by Weldmar Hospicecare Trust was an obvious choice.

I am not exactly the fittest person so trekking for 7 hours
a day in temperatures of up to 32◦C, through jungle, across rivers and up a 45◦ incline carrying a packpack weighing up to 10kg really is a physical and mental challenge for me.  Not having access to a
bathroom is just the icing on the cake!!  I am sure the challenge will be worth it and rewarding in many ways though.
