Harwood Methodist Church is the largest provider of Community space in the area.  However, the current buildings are fast becoming very costly to maintain.  We have amalgamated the two Methodist Churches in Harwood but, if we lose one of the buildings, the community will suffer.  Our aim is to lose both buildings but to replace them with a fantastic new Church building that can really provide for the community - Harwood is so lacking any other community provision.  Your donation will really make a difference!

So, on Saturday 5th October, about 10 of us will be abseiling 101 feet down Leasowe Lighthouse - the oldest brick built lighthouse in Britain.  I'm not sure how the others will feel but I'm a little scared of heights so it's gonna be quite a challenge!  I just figure it's a little less petrifying than the sponsored skydives that they keep doing!
