I’m doing something next year that I never thought I would do. Im taking part in a half iron man, this will involve me swimming 1.2 miles open water, cycling 56 miles and then running 13 miles, I ride regular and the swim I just need to get up to speed, however I have a big fear of open water, I have only done this once before so it’s a bit obstacle to be doing it again, but for me the running is the big thing. I do many events each year but as this one is a lot tougher, I am going to do it for charity. The charity I have chosen is Be More Bailey. This charity is to help children access triathlons. It’s a foundation to help provide the opportunity for other disabled children to benefit from taking part in triathlons or the individual disciplines by providing grants towards the specialist equipment that disabled children may need to enable them to participate.
