We raise funds for local Leukaemia patients to "help make life a little easier"

Story

We are taking part in The Wirral Costal Walk 2022 to raise money for The Candice Colley Foundation.

It is a small charity that was launched in memory of 23 year old Candice Colley. The Foundation aims to help Leukemia and other blood cancer patients and their families. They support ward 30 in Arrowe Park Hospital and the bone marrow transplant unit at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

Kate works as a nurse in Arrowe Park Hospital ward 30 where the Candice Colley Foundation has a relatives room where it provides a safe, private and comfortable place for relatives of patients that are going through blood cancers and receiving chemotherapy.  Their support and money goes a long way for the patients and their families where they receive gifts donated by the charity at Christmas and Easter. And especially after a tough 2/3 years for charity we have chosen to raise money to help even more families across Wirral and Liverpool. It would mean a lot to all involved and the charity.
