As Treasurer of Smart Works Newcastle I know only too well how fragile the financial viability of a charity can be.  The work that Smart Works does and the help we give to hundreds of women a year can't happen without funding.

Following the success of our Spin for Smart Works event earlier this year, I thought it was high time I took my turn at physical pain in the ever optimistic belief that I could do some good, improve my fitness and raise a few quid all at the same time.

Please give as much as you can - we're entirely dependent on donations and can only continue as long as we can continue to raise funds.
