Story

I have been a social runner for a number of years and decided to do the Equinox 24 hour race as part of a team in September last year.

I have always wanted to do a marathon and the Equinox spurred me on!

I am raising money for the Ear Foundation, a local charity I have worked with for the last 5 years as their accountant. The Ear Foundation was established in 1989 and supported (and helped fund) the first cochlear implant done in the UK that year. I have been lucky enough to learn a lot more about the work that the Ear Foundation do, and the invaluable support that they offer families with Children with hearing difficulties.

The services that the Ear Foundation provide and the support they offer could not be done without the fundraising activities that are done throughout the year. I obviously have first hand experience this! Any donations would be gratefully received to support this local Charity and the work they do.
