I am running the Richmond Marathon in September, then Jersey Marathon in October and then followed straight after with a 5 day trek across Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyons.

I am raising money for the Love Hope Strength charity which is committed to giving hope to people living with cancer, including purchases of medical equipment and supplies, building cancer centres and recruiting potential organ and bone marrow donors. This charity was founded by Mike Peters (lead singer of The Alarm) and his wife Jules, who are both cancer survivors and are so inspirational and positive. They both will be leading the Canyons trek.

Over the last year I have lost close friends to cancer. I am proud to have the opportunity to do these challenges in support of this charity, to remember close friends and to honour brave and inspirational people in the way they have fought against cancer.
