We use the power of sport to to drive positive change

Story

On Friday 17th & Saturday 18th May we will be cycling 200km in a day and a bit from The Twickenham Stoop (home of the mighty Harlequins) to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry where our old adversaries Wasps now ply their trade. The whole thing is in aid of the Harlequin Foundation which basically does great things for a variety of good causes - something for everyone:
  • Switch – a women and girls project which aims to develop tomorrow’s female leaders
  • METTLE – a project that develops skills and knowledge to improve physical health and mental well-being for 9-12 year olds
  • Local Community Grants in the SW London area
  • Men's Health in partnership with the Movember Foundation

Day 1 will be more than 100 miles which is truly daunting given that the furthest either of us has ever cycled in a day is about 25 miles. We think we are making quite a sacrifice - not the 200km or the chafing or the sore bodies or the ignominy of being seen in lycra; no, it is being associated with the old git (our father) in public on one of his jaunts. Thanks so much for your support.
