The Brightest Star charity is dedicated to Jack Kennedy who sadly passed away in December 2012. His mum, Arlene, is the founder of the charity and aims to do 3 things. 1) Fund more family ambulances- these are amblances which allow both parent and child to travel in. 2) Open Hulks Haven - which will be a centre for other bereaved parents to go and recieve support. 3) To train family members in first aid. I never knew Jack, or Arlene, but her story really touched me, as it did for many. Therefore, as well as celebrating the big 3.0,  I thought I would support this inspirational woman achieve her goal.
