I'm walking for Parkinson's UK because I have Parkinson's and because I enjoy walking and being outside. The book, "Watership Down" has been part of my life since I was a child. At the time, I didn't realise that it was a real place. Now I live near it.

I have plotted a route that uses public rights of way to follow, as closely as possible, the route that Richard Adams sent his rabbits on as they left Sandleford Common and wended their way - past Nuthanger Farm - to the eponymous down. I intend to climb the steep face of the down and then walk home in time to pick the children up from school.
