In 2019 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, a diagnosis that shook not just my world but my families too. Having this diagnosis at such a young age and with a 5 year old daughter was absolutely terrifying. With the amazing support from the very few I shared my illness with along with the most amazing medical teams I came through the other side a stronger and better person. During my struggles with post surgery and treatment the one thing I really missed was fitness then Team Pheonix entered my world! 

Meeting my fellow Warriors who I will be attempting this challenge with has completely changed my life both mentally and physically. Being able to train and spend time with people who truly believe the struggles I’ve been through  means the world to me and I cannot thank Team Pheonix Foundation for allowing me to be on this team. 💕 We will cross the line together and be stronger together 💕

As a charity Team Phoenix are a dedicated group of sports and medical professionals, plus local volunteers with an aim to help us incredible women regain physical and mental wellbeing and form a lasting support structure. 

Like the sport of triathlon, the mission of Team Phoenix is threefold. The mind, body and soul are all seriously affected by the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. At Team Phoenix, we aim to regenerate this inner trinity allowing survivors to fly 

As a fully enrolled member of Team Pheonix for 2021 along with 9 fellow survivors and friends we will be taking on this incredible challenge and will cross the line together, stronger and better
