Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the beginning of this year I decided (possibly rather out of character!) that it would be fun to walk the entire length of Hadrians Wall - approx 86 miles. So, on May 4th I will start  in Wallsend and walk for 6 consecutive days covering approximately 15 miles a day over varying terrain. Finishing on May 10th in Bowness-on-Solway. I am walking with a great friend Anne Pritchard who shared my desire to 'Walk the Wall'.

Initially we had no thoughts of doing a 'charity walk'. Mainly because these days we are all inundated with requests for money for so many charities and we felt reluctant to ask people to dig into their pockets.

HOWEVER, when a number of people started asking us if were indeed raising money for anything we had second thoughts. Due to the simply horrendous events that have happened in Japan recently Anne and I decided that we would set up the Just Giving page so that if anyone felt they would like to contribute any funds, however small, to the JAPAN EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND then this could be their opportunity.

No pressure, hassle or endless reminders - just an opportunity!
