"IMET 2000"  is the International Medical Education Trust 2000; a British charity educating tomorrow's generation of Health Professionals in challenging areas of the world. In Palestine they have helped set up medical schools to train doctors and nurses which has had a major impact on patient care. 

Also,  "Pal Music UK "  is a fantastic project supported by IMET2000. They aim to help young people lead more fulfilling lives amid the problems of Palestine through the use of music. Raising money in the UK, to support the National Conservatory of Music in Palestine and organise concerts in the UK by Palestinian musicians.  The programmes include outreach across refugee camps and villages; distance learning with music students in Gaza being taught from London; help for graduate and post graduate music students in the UK; assistance with teaching publications. They aim to develop all these activities further and have hosted tours in the UK by the Palestine Youth Orchestra and other groups.
