Woodside Animal Centre is part of the independent RSPCA branch network meaning they rely solely on donations to fund the amazing work they do. On average they take in 28 animals a week, these are either handed over by owners that can no longer meet their needs, abandoned on the door step or seized from owners who are mistreating them. Woodside take them in and do everything they can to get them back to full health and then rehome them to loving owners. In the last 10 years they have successfully rehomed 36,000 animals in the Leicestershire area.

A team of us from RBS customer service centre Leicester have volunteered our time to help out at the centre for a day. We carried out some much needed maintenance work that the staff and volunteers just haven't got the time to do. This included painting the conference room, sanding and painting some outside benches and tidying the  garden and wooded area where the dogs are walked. It was a hard days work but we achieved a lot and it was extremely rewarding to work together to make a difference.

So that the centre can continue to do the amazing work that they do we would like to support them by raising some money to go towards the day to day running costs and care of the animals. We are hoping to raise £500 and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
