Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a deferral from a broken foot and then later a broken toe and generally a year of not much exercise, I'm back at it!

It means so many different things to me but this year I have good time to cover the miles and make it over the finish line.

First day of training happened today! Will be keeping the page updated! Let's raise those funds and make a difference!

Who am I fundraising for?

I am very grateful and honoured to be running for the South West Thames Kidney Fund.  Here's where I ask you for your support in helping me fundraise.  If you know anyone with diabetes or high blood pressure - they could be at risk of this potentially fatal disease.  Research states that in the UK around 1 in 8 people will develop Chronic Kidney Disease and every day 19 people will develop kidney failure.  This means someone you likely know may be affected.  Please join me in raising funds for a worthy cause which will give those struggling with this disease the best chance to live a full and happy life.  Any donation, large or small, from any currency in the world, will not go unnoticed and will make a huge difference in the life of others.  Your help is much appreciated by both myself and the South West Thames Kidney Fund.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We raise funds for research that will lead to the successful treatment and eventual elimination of kidney disease. The lives of many people are seriously affected by kidney disease. Kidney failure is an extremely debilitating illness. Research is the only answer to find a prevention or a cure.
