Story

At the beginning of March, myself and Emily will be taking on the Mad March Mare (a 10k endurance obstacle mud run). We are doing this to raise money for the Friends of Hadrian School. Hadrian School caters for the needs of pupils aged between two and eleven years with a range of additional needs including complex and severe learning difficulties. It is a brilliant school and I know myself from volunteering here how fantastic the staff and students are.

The school requires a huge range of specialist equipment to support and enhance the children’s daily learning and ability.

A few months ago they were the target of vandalism and abuse, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage, but the children have remained as strong as ever and haven’t let it beat them.

Any donation you can give will be much appreciated by ourselves the children and the staff.
