Campaign by Marie Curie (RCN 207994 (England & Wales) and SC038731 (Scotland))
During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. I will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom my way and help my chosen charity.

I am going to push myself to jump 100 fences of 70cm + on my lovely horse. Anything above this height I find scary so it will challenge us. I am proud to raise money for the fantastic charity I work for. FRAME strive to educate & inspire future scientists to develop and use non-animal research methods for human health and disease research, and safety testing. The ultimate aim of which is to improve the success and efficiency of medical research and improve the lives of people and animals.
