Phoenix always loved being in the great outdoors, so I thought it would be a good idea to do something he loved to help raise money and spread awareness for a cause that was very dear to his heart. On September 20^th, I will begin a 4-day expedition following the Pennine Way north through the peak district, stopping 3 times along the route to camp, and completing the 100km in Lothersdale on day 4.

Crohns & Colitis In Childhood was set up over 30 years ago by four families whose children had been diagnosed with either Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and every single penny raised goes directly to fund research in to finding a cure for Crohn's Disease and new treatments for Colitis.

Although nothing can bring him back, it would mean the world to me and a great number of people who are associated with this charity if you or someone you know could donate any amount you possibly can.
