We equip specialist emergency responders to treat critically ill patients in Suffolk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 3rd September Joanne and I will be taking on the South Coast Challenge 100km continuous walk aiming to finish some time on the 4th September and who knows maybe within 24 hours.  We have done 5 of these before and bizarrely really enjoy doing them.  When we did our first 5 years ago many of you generously supported us and helped us raise a lot of money, we are hoping to do the same again, this time for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS), a charity run by volunteers who provide specialist volunteer responders to assist the East of England Ambulance Service at the scenes of serious medical emergencies or trauma in Suffolk and neighbouring counties.  You can read more about SARS here .

What we do | SARS | Suffolk's Emergency Medical Charity (sars999.org.uk)

This year SARS is celebrating its 50th anniversary and has a 50 for 50 campaign to raise an additional £50k in its 50th year, and Joanne and I would like to help as it falls in our 50th year as well!!!!

I am sure you will agree that it is a great charity especially for many of us like myself who live and work in rural communities.  If you are able to make a donation no matter how small or large, Joanne and I would be very grateful and it will give some much needed will power and encouragement along the way, especially as its been 3 years since we last did one of these!!!  Thank you Andrew and Joanne.
