Story
First of all thank you so much for taking the time in visiting my page. I am trying to do something different in raising awareness of one of the highest cancer killers of children, young people and adults under 40. Surprised? You may also be surprised to hear that Brain Tumour research is one of the lowest recipients of funding.
What I would like you to do:
1) Visit the HeadSmart page and download the symptoms guide
http://www.headsmart.org.uk/admin/uploads/symptoms-card-final-v4_-printready.pdf
2) Please send this link to all your friends and social networking contacts. Share, share and share again!
3) If you do wish to donate, no more than £1 please. (Trying to raise awareness and hoping that this will encourage people to share).
Why the Brain Tumour Charity?
The reason is quite simple. In memory of a friend's little girl, Keira, who died from a brain tumour, in a week from the “correct diagnosis”. Do visit the page in memory of Keira and read her story. https://www.justgiving.com/keiralee
Seven days was not enough!
I am running a marathon in seven days time and wanted to see what I could do in raising awareness in the space of a week.
Perhaps with your help and the wonders of social networking, you and your families and friends may see benefit in knowing the symptoms and understanding this cancer just a little more.
I will keep you posted of how I get on in Amsterdam.
My thanks to you again.
Andrew
