My wife George was diagnosed with Primary Breast Cancer in February 2014 and then with secondary, metastatic, incurable breast cancer in her liver and lymph nodes in October 2019. Soon after her diagnosis we both received invaluable support and counselling from Cancer Support Yorkshire in Bradford. 

To give something back myself and Pete are going to cycle from Morecambe to Bridlington along the Way Of The Roses cycle route in a single day, covering a total of over 250km, the furthest either of us have cycled in a single trip before. We expect to be sore by the end of it. We're doing it on Saturday 25th September, weather looking promising!

Next year we hope to do Lands End to John O'Groats in a week so this is the warmup...
