Event: Scottish Half Marathon + 10K 2019, on 22 September 2019
We provide therapy, support, and community to those with neurological conditions

Story

I only took up running last year. At nearly 60, I feel the health benefits it has had on my physical and mental fitness. At the same time, I have learned the impact Multiple Sclerosis has upon people's lives.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.

The MS Therapy Centre Lothian supports people diagnosed with MS to lead as full and active a life as possible. The treatments, therapies and support services are designed to develop and assist clients capacity to manage their daily lives and maintain their independence.

I therefore would like to make use of my new leisure activity to make a positive contribution towards helping the physical and mental health of others.

Please consider sponsoring a few pounds to a good cause. The Scottish Half Marathon is on September 22nd. I promise I will last the course.

Thank you.
