Story
I am cycling the coast to coast nonstop unaided in under 24hrs on the 19th of April. I have decided to do this for a local charity which is Hospice at Home ‘Live for today fund’. The Live for today fund is based around helping family members who have close relations with terminal illnesses. This is close to my heart as I have a family member who was diagnosed with a terminal illness late last year and my family has been helped by the Live for Today Fund.
As some of you may know I have been training throughout winter and I have received various comments on how hard it is to get up in the morning and get on my bike. I find this very easy compared to people who get up in the morning and wonder if their loved ones are still with them. The strength of others has spurred me on throughout my winter months training leading up to this ride.
