Update 15/10/11: Many thanks to those who donated for Liverpool, I've raised another £38.5 for SANDS and it is most appreciated. Liverpool was a tough run, but I broke my PB and the 5hr mark so a good result all in all.

Update 21/8/2011: I've decided to extend the page for a couple of months as I will be running the Liverpool Marathon on October 9th 2011. So, anyone who didn't sponsor me for Edinburgh now has a chance to give a worthy cause some cash now.

Update: I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone who donated. The target has been reached, and running in the knowledge that I had such support made it easier to get through the wall. I completed the marathon in 5h 7m.

I'll be running the Edinburgh Marathon in May. This will be my first (and based on how tough training is, almost certainly my last) marathon and I'd like to use this opportunity to raise some money for a very worthy cause (SANDS - see the link at the side for more information).
