Fundraising for Blesma The Limbless Veterans
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My own entrance fee for Velothon Wales (Sunday 22nd May, 140km cycling road race around Glamorgan and Gwent) is being put towards Bloodwise, a blood cancer charity. However I would also like to undertake a more personal fund raising attempt and after researching the options for supporting our injured ex service men and women I have settled on supporting Blesma (British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association).
Blesma helps serving and ex-Service men and women who have lost limbs, or the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support. My fundraising will allow Blesma members and their families to face the challenges ahead with renewed confidence and belief. The challenge faced by me in Velothon Wales 2016 is insignificant when compared to those scarred in battle and the protection of our nation.
