After a number of unsuccessful attempts I have this year won a place in the ballot to run the London Marathon

I have decided to raise money for Leukemia & Lymphoma Research, which is a cause very close to my heart. Angus Rowland was the son of close family friends. He died from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia aged 14. His disease was resistant to all available treatments. Since his death in 2011 his family has set up the Angus Rowland Forgetmenot Fund with Leukemia & Lymphoma Research to try and find treatments for other teenagers like Angus for whom this type of cancer is untreatable
