Most of my family and friends know that I ride a bike to keep fit and raise donations for Tiger Awareness. So for 2017 I’ve decided to jump off the bike and start running instead. In October, Birmingham will be holding there inaugural International marathon. This will be the challenge, to complete the run in 4hrs or less. Over the next 9months, I intend to train and take part in events from 5k to half marathons until the end of September, then in October I will be ready for my main event. The Birmingham Int Marathon.

This challenge will be raising funds to help build boundary walls around open deep wells that can be found in some of our project areas in Pench Tiger Reserves. These walls will help stop animals and villagers from falling in and drowning in the wells. Each well will cost about £370 and the charity would like to enclose 15 more wells in 2017. I have set my target for 2 wells to be enclosed, but I would like to at least raise enough for 4 wells by the end of 2017.  More details can be found at the charities website.
