Story
Firstly, I want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last few years, your generosity has meant so much to us all.
It is four years since we lost Mark. I still very much miss him and still expect him to walk through the door or often think 'I'll tell Mark that!' I think he would be amazed and proud of what we have achieved in the last few years, he would also have loved to do it and I often wish he was out on the road with us (although he would be miles ahead!)
We have been raising money in his name for the last few years and we do it to keep Mark's memory alive and to raise money for our hospice. I will always be grateful for the help and support they provided to me, enabling me to care for Mark in all stages of his illness. End of life care is so important to those that need it and their families/friends.
To ensure that we are worthy of the support everyone has provided us we keep making our challenges increasingly difficult. This year is about endurance, physical and mental strength. Nigel, Paul, John, Sarah and myself will be riding 300 miles in 3 days in Brittany, France. The geography is similar to Cornwall so there will be quite a bit of climbing as well!
I am really chuffed that Mark's brother Steve and his partner Alison are also going to join us and going to do their first challenge - 150 miles in 3 days.
If you are able to donate a pound or two we would be truly thankful.
